Educational Proposal
The San Vicente de Paúl School is defined as a Catholic centre run by the Daughters of Charity of Saint Vincent de Paul, which bases its educational style on the Vincentian Charism.
As a Vincentian School, it is committed to quality education with its own style, which seeks to make the Good News of the Gospel present to all, offering preferential attention to those in greatest need. Its objective is the integral formation of students in accordance with a Christian conception of man, life, and the world; it prepares them to actively participate in the transformation and improvement of society, following the example of the founders of the Company of the Daughters of Charity of Saint Vincent de Paul, Vincent de Paul and Louise de Marillac.
Our centre is part of the network of educational centres of Vincentian Education among the more than 90 centres run by the Daughters of Charity of Saint Vincent de Paul in Spain.
As the centre of the province of the Hijas de la Caridad de San Vicente de Paúl España Este, we are part of and share the Proyecto Educativo España Este TESELA that aims to promote educational success and the human growth of students, considering methodological change from an open and innovative perspective. Being part of this network allows us to exchange experiences and training with other educational centres to improve our educational work with our students.

We are a bilingual centre
Great stories are for everyone, even if they were written for just one person. If you try to write it with a broad and general audience in mind, your story will sound false and won't be exciting. No one will be interested. Write for one person. If it is genuine for one person, it will be for others too.
- We promote the development of plurilingual competence.
- We start from a teaching model focused on the development of communicative skills.
- Language learning is carried out through immersion in Early Years, via innovative programmes and projects, continuing in Primary and Secondary education, with English as the language of instruction in specific subjects alongside the subject of its own designation.
- In Year 5 of Primary School, the learning of French as a second foreign language begins and continues until the end of secondary school, in order to complete an effective multilingual education in both languages, validated by our students' success in official exams in both languages.
- We carry out bilingual projects "ERASMUS PLUS" and "CROSSING BORDERS" coordinated with other centres in Europe
Inspiring Principles
The Inspiring Principles encourage educational action based on an open, flexible, and constructive pedagogy, which adapts to the needs of the students and incorporates the didactic innovations that educational quality demands.
Relationships and educational climate
based on simplicity.
Option for the most vulnerable
in their economic level, intellectual capacity or other types of limitation.
Living the evangelical values
through which we reveal that God loves us.
Commitment to justice and universal solidarity
with an active participation in the transformation and improvement of society.
Respect for life and nature
promoting responsibility towards the progress of science and technology.
We seek the comprehensive development of students in their intellectual, human, and Christian dimensions, valuing knowledge as a means of personal and social improvement, with a special sensitivity towards those with greater needs.
In collaboration with families, we address diversity by educating for freedom, justice, solidarity, tolerance, love, and peace, using an open, flexible, and updated methodology that prioritises tutorial action and guidance, as well as coexistence within the centre as an essential condition for creating an atmosphere of work, simplicity, joy, and trust.
- Of hope, critical and optimistic about what is happening in the world, which generates positive expectations in people, teams, and families based on their potential, not their shortcomings.
- From the values of the gospel. As Jesus of Nazareth did, we accept people with their values and circumstances and offer vital enrichment through spiritual and religious formation.
- Through the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which break paradigms and educate in a new way of seeing and thinking, unifying terms such as diversity, equality, freedom, identity, and otherness.
Implemented a Quality Management System that allows for the annual development of an Improvement Plan to meet the established objectives, enables us to train students who can develop, from their personality, a transformative action for the world and society, thus contributing, with their work and effort, to the construction of a reality and interpersonal relationships that are much fairer and more supportive.
